This tour is designed for travelers who want to challenge yourself by trekking to Fansipan peak-"The roof of Indochina". You will have the amazing memories when crossing the Muong Hoa Valley, and the climb up 2000m throught the pine forest and bamboo thickets. And your reward is a panorama encompassing the mountain ranges of Hoang Lien Son Range and Muong Hoa Valley.

NIGHT 1: HANOI - NIGHT BUS/TRAIN

OPTION 1: HANOI - NIGHT BUS

21.00 - 21.30 Our shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotels/hostels in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer you to bus station to take about 5,5 hours by the sleeping bus to Sapa. You will arrive Sapa Bus station at 3.30 - 4.00, you can sleep on bus until 6.00 (no air-condition on bus when stopping).

OPTION 2: HANOI - NIGHT TRAIN

20.30 Our staff from Indochina Beauty Travel will pick up at your hotels/hostels in Hanoi Old Quarter, transfer to Hanoi Train station, take the night train to Lao Cai, this train departs at 10:00 Pm – arrive in the next morning at 06:00 Am - Train cabin 4 berth with A.C - sharing cabin.

DAY 1: SAPA – TRAM TON  –  2,800M OF ALTITUDE (BREAKFAST/ LUNCH/ DINNER)

6.00 Our driver will pick up at the Sapa bus/train station when you arrive and transfer by shuttle bus to the hotel in Sapa. You can spend time to take a hot shower and have breakfast at the hotel before starting your trek.

9.00 The driver will take a short distance of 15km to the Tram Ton pass. You will get to know your baggage porter who will carry the food and your sleeping bag up the mountain. Then we start trekking to conquer Fanxipan mountain. On the trekking way, this is also a good opportunity for you to learn from your tour guide about the indigenous people of Sa Pa, such as the Black Mong, Red Dzao and Dzay. You will pass through primitive forest, forests of pine and bamboo and along different streams to reach an elevation of 2200mwhere we will have a pinic lunch. 

We then keep on trekking up the steeper and more difficult terrain a to the height of 2,800m. You can spend time to take a rest or explore the surroundings of your tent, while your tour guide and porter prepare dinner for you. 

Overnight in Tent.

DAY 2: 2,800M OF ALTITUDE - FANSIPAN PEAK - SAPA (BREAKFAST/ LUNCH/ DINNER)

We have breakfast before we clim around three hours though dense bamboo forest to Fansipan Mountain Peak. You will have the great experience to stand on the highest peak in Vietnam. You will be rewarded with great views over the valleys of Sa Pa and even see the mountains in Yunan Province in China. Have a pinic lunch, then go down to the foot of the mountain to Tram Ton Pass, where our driver awaits and we are transferred back to Sapa Town. 

Free take a hot shower at the hotel. Then have dinner. We transfer you to bus/train station. Take the night bus/train back to Hanoi. Tour ends.

Notes:

- Overnight on train: soft sleeper train cabin 4 berth with A.C - sharing cabin.

- Overnight on bus: You will arrive Hanoi about 3.30-4.00am, you can not continue to sleep on bus, so please prepare the accomodation for early arriving.

    Pack essentials, including light comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities, comfortable walking shoes.
  • Take a small day pack for hiking and trekking. You can keep your big luggage at our hotel. After we finish the treking trip, we will be back the hotel for taking a shower and collect all your luggages to go to bus/train station.
  • It is essential to bring your passport on this trip. We also recommend packing: insect repellent, sun cream, raincoat and sun hat...

What do I need to know?

  • From April to October, the climate is usually cool and fresh in the morning and evening, but hot in the middle day with sunshine. Rain season, sometimes foggy if it rains.
  • From October to March is the cold weather, December and January are most coldest months, appears snowy in the coldest days. 
    The itinerary can be changed due to weather conditions.
  • Special request (diet or vegetarian, …) please inform us in advance before departure date
